Marrakech, December 8, 2024 - The exhibition "Le Patrimoine Éternel", held at the Sofitel Marrakech, brilliantly highlighted Moroccan heritage.
The artist Kamélia Zarqani offered an artistic and traditional immersion while remaining modern with total harmony with the thirty of her paintings that were presented. Organized as part of the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the Sofitel, this exhibition confirmed the artist's commitment to the preservation of Moroccan cultural identity.
Through her creations, Kamélia Zarqani has captured the essence of Moroccan heritage by bringing a contemporary and deeply personal touch. Visitors were captivated by the authenticity and symbolic depth of the works, particularly through strong elements such as “the Khamissa”, a symbol of protection, or the Moroccan mosaics and geometric lines, which reflect a rich and universal cultural identity. Each painting reveals the artist’s philosophy: “delving into local identity to achieve universality”.
This event marks an important step in the career of Kamélia Zarqani, who continues to explore new ways of reinterpreting Moroccan heritage. Her exhibition constitutes a bridge between past and present, while asking questions about the transmission of traditions to future generations.
