Casablanca, June 23, 2025

The event is twofold, as we will be witnessing the 10th edition of Plastexpo, as well as the 5th year of Packexpo in Casablanca. The aim is to combine the presentation of the latest technologies in the plastics industry with the opportunity to discover innovations in packaging in all its forms, as well as in logistics.

Under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, this important exhibition, in partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, AMDIE, SNEP, and CTPC, will take place over four days until June 26, 2025.

During the opening, the Minister of Industry and Trade, Mr. Ryad Mezzour, emphasized the strategic importance of industrial sovereignty, particularly in the plastics sector. He highlighted the central role of innovation, decarbonization, and technological mastery, recalling that local machine manufacturing is a crucial step towards industrial autonomy. The Minister also emphasized priority projects, such as water sovereignty, particularly through the development of membranes. Through these two trade shows, the FMP reaffirms its commitment to strengthening the "Made in Morocco" brand, promoting Moroccan expertise, and activating national preference, while respecting international ISO-Quality and ISO-Price standards.

Training sessions led by international experts and several conferences enrich the program, fostering the exchange of expertise and strategic partnerships.

The 2025 edition is notable for the launch, for the first time in Morocco, of the International Packaging Conference, organized in partnership with the World Packaging Organization (WPO), the CTPC, the FMP, and the Tunisian center Packtec. This conference, which will run until June 26, will address major cross-border challenges in the packaging sector.

Three major agreements were signed on this occasion, including partnerships with the Moroccan Institute of Standardization (IMANOR), Inmaa Morocco, and the Ben M'Sick Faculty of Sciences. In addition, certificates were awarded to the winners of the first training session for trainers in the circular economy, dedicated to the plastic packaging sector.
